was in the dollar store last weekend looking for fly tying stuff and saw this and thought it might work as a bead mat i cut a corner out of it and used it when i was tying some copper johns, it worked great no more beads rolling around

Man,I have got to try that. My fly tying room is carpeted and a bead that rolls off the table becomes nothing more than popcorn in the vacuum. Kind of expensive with tungsten beads too.

That's a great idea. Takes all the fun out of chasing loose beads on the desk or the floor. Usually the floor.
