Here are some carded wool pattern ideas. I’ve tested the wool body fly in water and I like the action it provides. Some with heads that was formed with UV resin then adding some stick on eyes. Others I used Dark Water Dubbing for the belly and head over some chain bead eyes. They still need to be tested out in the field but I believe they would produce.

nice. is that yarn you brushed through a carding comb? Acrylic yarn, brushed using a dog brush. I was surprised by how nice it worked. The the green minnows are a camo wool ball. I can post a pic tomorrow... I want to try a weedless minnow pattern using yarn.

Call this one, Injured Minnow.
Hook- large gap worm hook. Body- carded wool, Buck tail, red flash. Shank- Red wire wrap topped with UV resin.

Stacking and Trimming dubbing wool head.
Hook- salt water streamer hook. Body- olive chenille and carded wool. Eyes- gold chain beads. Head- stacked and trim wool dubbing. Attachment Deleted
