So as I was walking through Dollarama the other day and as one would, I took a quick look to see what could be tied down onto a hook to form a fly. Surely, I found the jackpot. A whole bag of DIY foam popper heads that'll last you a whole winter of tying in a variety of colors. Trimmed the front of the head with a blade at an angle to help create the pop, and you got yourself a pretty sweet popper. Way less work then trimming corks, and way cheaper then buying popper heads. You can touch it up with sharpies, hopefully better then I did, and the color seems to stay on well after a minute of drying.
