Went out to the sewer today and it was producing very well. Ended up with 30+ fish--5 different species-drum, cats, carp, sauger and pike. A bit costly though- had a huge cat on (possibly carp) and in the third run into my backing the rod went limp so thought it got unbuttoned. Then I see my line swimming away. Knot between the line and backing let go. Good thing TFH has some sinking tip line in stock. Quick trip to the city and back on the water.

I think I was a little downstream of you yesterday. I didn't do nearly as well but I caught some drum, wasn't able to connect on a cat this time.

If so, you missed the morning entertainment of watching my line swim away while attached to some big bugger.
