As anyone who has fished with me knows, I have a fetish for copper 'rough' dubbing. I find it works in so many situations and catches a lot of fish for me. Here is a generic nymph with a pheasant tail back and wing case, like coloured soft hackle legs and the dubbing combed out. Here is a flymph style with a rubber back

Hi Robert, thanks for sharing these flies. I am intrigued with your copper rough dubbing. Is this something that you blend yourself? if so, maybe you can share your recipe as I also like to blend my own. Thanks in advance.

It just seems to come to me in small amounts. I have never seen it commercially available and I don't blend. But I should because I have colours I won't use but in small amounts might give life and roughness to my standard copper dubbing.
