Hello ;MERRY CHRISTMAS,HAPPY NEW YEAR...I had a great time fishing in the parklands.But I have concerns with the deer ticks.It seemed like everywhere I went ,I ran into them.Does anyone have any advise/remedy ,lotion etc..At least I can get my dog vaccinated for them,which really helps. thanks

Whether it is dog ticks ( most common in the parklands) or deer ticks I would use permethrin. I have ordered it from Cabelas in the U.S. and it comes in a spray bottle that you treat your clothes. Let the clothes dry and good to go and yes it works.Lasts for several washings before retreating.Not cheap but again it works. Cabelas Canada doesn't carry it. I had no problems with getting it out of the U.S.
