Beauty, seem that if you try to speed up your cast near the verticle this dips the tip and you got the loop. Lots of people have trouble getting the rod tip bend to do the cast. I think all this wanting "fast" tips is part of it. It's fishing slow down, get the slow tip easier to cast earier in playing the fish. Boo is real solw tips wonderful to cast and fish. Beginners may also benifit from getting a rod one weight lower than their line. The line is for having something like 30 feet out the tip to cast. Maybe just me but I had trouble getting 30 feet in the air when I was a nubie. I still mix the lines and rods. Cheers Ron
