So, as we all anticipate the warm weather, I decided to work on my fly tying and do some flies for the upcoming season, I'm all stocked up with DDH's for the Red and flies for trout, so I went with some flies that I was in need of and would been new ties for me so I thought I'd share them. My first attempt at a popper from a wine cork. Came out alot better then I expected. I'm planning to target big pike so I might aswell upscale my flies with this monster. A simple deerhair topwater mouse. One from my new collection of clousers And finally some kind of an attempt at a fly pattern. And the wait continues for spring....
