Came across this Lil sweet heart of a antique fly reel at a garage sale on SAT! Anyways as i walked into the garage sale like i always do confident and with a sly diamond smile IM READY TO BUY ON IMPULSE!! .. i went to work quickly going through all the junk on the tables.. . Thats when i came across this odd old fly reel And it still works..I THINK!!! Ok now one thing how does it work??? So please if ANy older master fly Cats here used these before please let me know how!!! i want to try this REEL out!!I know you wind up the face of the reel and then depress the sliver handle..And it spins counter clockwise retrieves the line automatically ... but what i cant figgure out is the function of second arm HELP!!!

I haven't a clue what that second lever would be for. I've got an old reel I bought with an old cane rod but it has only one lever. That lever retrieves the line.

I'd probably be interested in selling it. It's a South Bend no. 59 - 9' rod with two tips. The rod is in very good condition and includes the original rod bag and case. The case screw top is screwed. PM me if you're interested. Harry
