I can tell you his 6wt rods are a lot of fun! I have a 6ft square rod, single piece, and was hoping to try it on the Whiteshell River first, but haven't had a chance. I took it out to a spot on the Red, and my first fish on it was a CARP! I was afraid that I would break the rod, so I played it very carefully, and followed it down a ways, but was able to land this nice little carp. After some more cat and large drum, I stopped babying the rod, and had some fun with it. It took everything I threw at it. I have since changed the Grey's reel with a small Martin Classic MC56 reel to better balance the outfit. BTW; I had a 5 or 6wt Cortland Sylk line that I picked up cheap at the Hole (I think), and didn't know what to do with. It didn't work with any of my other 5 or 6wt rods, but it works great with this one (go figure, it is made for boo). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one of Darryl's rods.

John, it sounds like it can. It'd be about $25 via regular parcel post Darrell, Okay Darrell, i'll take both rods and send you a cheque for $325? I have dealt with fly sales out of province before so please feel free to wait for the cheque to clear before you send the rods. When you PM me with your addy I'll PM you back with mine.
