I picked up a pair from the Fishin' Hole the other day. I had ordered some cheap ones, another brand, and tried them on in the store. They looked like they'd fall apart. So I tried on the Force Fins. Wow! Just looking at them you can see the quality going into making them. I tried on the boot foot and the stocking foot fins. They were both a tad small and I had to max out the adjustment and really reef on the strap to get it on. I went with the stocking foot because they will work perfect for snorkeling as well. (I don't wear wading boots while snorkeling ) In the water they'd incredibly comfortable. The flexibility really helps to take the strain off your ankles too. They provide excellent propulsion and mobility. If you can justify spending almost $200 on fins...I highly recommend getting a pair. You'll never have to buy another pair. (Well unless you gain a lot of foot weight or something. ) Nick

Fully agree here. Had the strap on ones (Caddis?) and while I didn't have anything to compare them to, so at the time they were fine. Got a pair of Force Fins, and some diving boots (neoprene with rubber soles), and this set up is fantastic. Probably 1/4 the weight of the strap on and wading boots, they feel better to wear, and for the amount of work done, they get you around much better. Would definitely tell someone who does any float tubing to get these.

Just an update. I bought a bigger pair for wearing in waders and they're even better! The other pair is perfect for wearing with barefeet or with diving socks. I've decided to keep them for snorkelling.
So yes, I now have two pairs of force fins and I can't say enough about em.
