For the fly fisherman who has everything, what does one get? What little gizmo or newly discovered treasure would you recommend? What do you wish you had? What have you given to your ff buddy that was cherished? I need some ideas. It needs to be small enough to be mailed and not too expensive (less than $50) Erika

The fly fisherman NEVER has everything. There's always more rods, more reels, more lines, more flies, better waders etc, etc.
However, if that's not a big draw, you might want to consider a fly rod building kit. Building rods is a lot of fun and amazingly addictive.

How about a net release? You give it a good yank and you're net comes free. I've got a spring-loaded one and I've actually been looking for another. The best I could find was a magnetic net release that I'd have to order in from the States. (I guess that isn't much help, Erika - advising you to buy something that isn't available... )

there is always something a flyfisherman can need like a net with a built in mesureing tape or a book about flyfishing or if they tie there own flys theres a vertualy endless list and even if you get the peson a fly tying material they oredy have then the supply of that material lasts longer and the are always new materials comeing on to the market or theres getting a hard to find matirial like yak hair as an example the possibilitys are end less.
