Was fishing from the south shore of the floodway tonight, caught 3 goldeye/mooneye types and one 16" - 18" cat. No pix of the fish, didn't seem photo worthy. Water is way down. I estimate it is down approx 7.5' from its high point a couple of weeks ago. Quite a site to take in. Back in May: Tonight (July 25): South shore looking east: South shore looking west: Saw someone on the other side ffing as well. I think there were a lot of fish in there, but the winds were too crazy to put the fly where the fish were. Didn't see any activity along the shore or out in the main channel to indicate carp were moving, but did see quite a bit of surface activity when the winds died down. Later.
