Well guys Will, Kim, and I had Phil Rowley out at the floodway for a little bit of fishing on Thursday. He did quite well, landing 11 Cats, 1 Carp and 3 Drum. The amazing thing is, he didn't know how to do the Red River Shuffle. I heard a huge splash and thought he was into the fish of a lifetime. Now here is a world famous fly fisherman with years of experience and what happens? I turned to see what he had on and right before my eyes all I could see was his head just above water level. Now being the good host I am I watched him struggle to get up. Doesn't take long for someone to get out of cold water so I didn't help him up but I was considerate enough to ask if he was OK. He looked a little wet and was cursing a little because his camera was toast and he lost a few good pic's. After letting him stew for a couple of minutes I did what every good fly fisherman would do. I laughed so hard I was just about crying! I must say that Phil is a good sport and started to laugh at himself as well. In fact I was so proud of the moment I told evryone at the festival about the big one that got away. P.S. Phil if you read this just remember to shuffle.

That is one more reason that you will never get me up on the Red Stu! With a name like Bob, you may wait to see how long that I live up to my namesake.
