Well that makes no sense... Vista runs in 64 bit mode all the time. I was not aware that there was any other version of the software.
James.

I think they are talking about 64bit PC architecture, not 64 bit apps.
Could be mistaken, however, as I still run Windows 2000 at home, and it runs great (for Windows).

I have run into a crazy problem that seems to be fairly commonwith our setup: I have a small network with a wireless router. One computer has XP Home ed which shares a samsung printer laser printer through an ethernet wire and an HP inkjet printer with the other computers on the network. My wife's laptop (Vista) is the machine that uses the wireless. It was printing fine to both printers when using our old router. The router cashed in its chips and we replaced it.The laptop can print to the HP fine, it can see the laser printer, but it won't print! I have tried a number of remedies from various techie forums but no luck. This is just driving me crazier.

It's a Dlink router. I think . My son has a theory that the old router may have forced the laptop to use an Xp emulation mode to talk to the older router and this was why the printing job >:(worked fine, but with the latest and greatest router the vista thingy won't talk to the other thingies. I don't know.
