I can definitely related with the ... This sounds like something Stephenjay is likely to help you with. I've used the Dell tele-service and it's not too bad... once you get through to the right department. The automated system has always patched me through to service people but not always the right ones.

Howdy robert,
I think you might need a program that opens up a platform program that will enable you to burn what you want to your cd drive.. I know thier was a program free that would enable you to just burn what ever and how many times you want to a cd ect.....

Sorry, been away for a while, tried BC Salmon fishing again (still no go, all I hooked into were bows on the Vetter)
Often when an application is installed that would allow you to right click on a file and send it to something, it will do this as part of the configuration. If that isn't there, one thing you can do is open up Windows Explorer, and create a short cut to the tool you want to send files to in a very specific folder.
If you right click on the Start button, you get a menu that lets you open Explorer. The directory you are in is typically the Start Menu directory (folder) under your user name under Documents and Settings. The folder that is right above this folder is called SendTo. This folder is where you create your short cut.
The easiest way to create a short cut is to copy it from the start menu, as it is already a shortcut there. If you can right click on your program from within the Start Menu, copy it, and then paste it in the SendTo folder I mention above, when you find a file somewhere you want to send to something, simply do the above.
A test for those interested would be to go to Start --> Programs (or all programs) --> Accessories --> and right click on Notepad (or word pad). Next, go to the SendTo folder, and select menu Edit -->Paste. You will see a shortcut to Notepad. Once complete, go to a folder that has something you want to review (it can be pretty much anything, just don't make it too big) right click on that file, and select Send To --> and you will see Notepad (or whatever) sitting there.
Let me know if this makes sense or not...
