My sons and I were out Tuesday in the Sandilands. The boys still call it grouse hunting while I sort of look at it as a dual purpose trip -hunting and a fly tying material gathering expedition. The ruffed grouse were cooperative. It was a nice day.

Randy, didn't realize it was you. You probably don't know me, we have only met in passing, but I have known John for years through baseball and spongee. My be playing again this year with him.

for Darrell - just as an update - last night 's supper was indeed bacon wrapped ruffed grouse breast, asparagus spears, seasoned broiled potato wedges, chilled bottle of white NA wine. ;D It was as good as you had imagined - ahhhhh P.S. hope the grouse at some point rewarded you for your efforts this Fall

Sheesh im droolin here think i might take a walk and try to get me a few wild chickens Only prob is i have to renew my FAC i hate that what a scam i cant even go buy a box of shells and i have been useing guns for hunting my whole life!
