To everybody who's got one of these ultralight sticks (or even lighter)...
What kind of line do you string'em up with? (Are 2 weight lines slightly harder to come by in these parts?)

I don't tnink I have seen 2wt line in a store here EVER!
I use Cabela's Prestige Plus DTF works fine.

I've been reading a little on the ultralights after the 2 wt I built (and haven't gotten to use yet ). It seems that folks often overline the light rods (after all you're going to be casting fairly short distances) for use on the little streams. The Forecast 2 wt blank I used virtually always has user reviews suggesting a 4 wt line. I plan to pick up a 4 wt line to share between my 2 wt and my 4 wt. My 2 c worth Ken

My Pacific Bay blank is plenty soft enough w/o up lining.
Be careful of up lining recomendations they are always biased on a personal level like casting style, guys who like soft rods but use a faster blank always seem to upline.
Seems to defeat the work of building a 2wt
