Hi guys,
Length 9'
Weight 2.8 oz ...
Just have to tell somebody ... I just came back from the Post Office with an almost-new 4-weight Scott G2. The term "gently-used" must have been coined for this rod ... not a mark anywhere ... used only twice.
I understand that the rods are made by a small collective of elves who live in a remote mountain valley in Colorado. For some reason, a very nice FF in California decided he didn't need/want it anymore.
It's omigod beautiful ... not flashy or anything ... and it has the best wiggle I've ever experienced.
Rod case seems to be made by Rolex ...

e-bay is a wonderful thing.... Sounds like the perfect rod for dry flies on the Castle River! Or some nameless little stream somewhere in southwestern Alberta.

Hi Dale, You pretty-well nailed it. Now all I have to do is learn (or be taught) how to cast a helluva lot better than I do now. With (maybe someday) a bit of what the writers call delicate presentations ... Perhaps with a dash of pinpoint accuracy ... Performance anxiety ... uh oh. Ron

Hi again,
Rob may choose to move this to the For Sale section, but I'm going to post it here just because there's a bit more traffic here right now.
The fellow (Lanny, in Corona) who sold me the factory G2 said it was used, but to me it appears totally brand new ... so we know that he is a straight-shooter. (He also charged me less for shipping than it actually cost him.)
The other guys on the FAOL board rave about the rods that he builds, and he sent me an e-mail last night (in response to my query about one of his rods) to tell me that it was still available.
Custom TFO TiCr 9' 4 piece 4 wt. Spring green guides wraps with metalic silver, gunmetal and oranges tippings at each ferrule, above the grip and around the TFO logo. Chrome snakes with SIC strippers, 7" full wells grip, Pac Bay A7 seat which is aluminum uplocking silver anodized with a jacaranda wood insert, nickle silver winding check. Rod comes with a bag but no tube. Has been fished twice and in excellent + condition. Price $135.00
I don't need it, but I'm gonna get it anyways.
Ron

i did some homework (i suggest calling or emailing local fish reps in the parkland if you see this in the future instead of using this forum and potentially wasting time waiting for a response on a potentially critical issue) called the fish guy and he called the RM guy (RM of Rossburn owns and operates machine) sometimes there are power outages in the area it seems the unit was only down for a few days they will be addressing or have addressed already

Kkansas,
I think your reply is in the wrong topic... You are probably replying to "cfused" topic in the "Specific Fly Fishing Inquiries" section.
James.
