I was using my waders recently and it had a crack in the boot area. I'm wondering if this is fixable or should I replace them? It's not an overly expensive set and I have used it for a few years.

I've had luck using Aqua Seal in my waders to fix cracks and leaks. Cabela's should have it and for 10 bucks its worth a shot before replacing them.

If you don't mind Amazon, you can get very decent pairs for right at $100, then there is no risk.

Try the fix with patching. However, they usually only work temporarily... new waders are the usual result. The holes are hard to find, and tough to fix reliably. Having one wet foot while wading gets pretty annoying.
With respect to that, stocking foot waders are really the best way to go, with wading boots, or even old hiking boots of some kind to go over them.
The built-in boots that come attached to waders is an inexpensive way to go for beginners, but stocking foot with separate boots lasts longer.

Totally agree with what lockport has posted. Very good advice.
