Hey! Introducing myself on the board, I'm new to fly fishing but came over from spinning tackle. Mostly eastern and northern Manitoba (travel restrictions notwithstanding) with an affinity for backcountry from shore or the 14-footer although I've been considering a float tube.

Welcome, you can find most answers to your Fly Fishing questions here. You will find some us that fish from a float tube and had many of our questions answered here. Hope your progress is enjoyable.

Welcome! A 14 footer is a good size for Lyons Lake, and that is a great lake to learn fly fishing and casting on.

Where exactly are you? A float tube is a very small water craft, but there are lots of lakes in the NW MB area that would be great with a small boat like a 14.
