Sold my boat today! Mixed feelings for sure, but I beleive Fly fishing took away my love of fishing in a boat. Does that make any sence with anyone? Its wadding and float tube only for me from now on.

That's a good choice for simplifying your fishing life and getting some more pocket money for fly gear... and maybe a trip to somewhere special to go fly fishing!
I would suggest Victoria for river/creek salmon in October, for example. Nice cheap trip that can be done on a budget, with a few good Manitobans to keep you company.

maybe a different boat one that is my fly rod friendly? I’ve lost interest in towing and storage, can’t park a boat in a condo. Im thankful for all the good years I had fishing with my boats but getting into fly fishing just took away my drive. I totally enjoy my simple float tube and love putting on waders for some shore fishing. I thinking maybe doing some trips wading small streams maybe in Alberta , BC and Ontario. I find this very weird for me after all these years fishing in a boat.

You’re retired, spend the summers fishing here and the winters fishing florida? Man, I’d sell the car and condo first, buy a boat big enough to live on. Take the intracoastal waterway south when the weather turns.
