There are people spreading the false or fake news that the Bug Chucker Cup has bee cancelled for the spring of 2020. this is not true, Bug Chucker will be held May 29 and 30, 2020. We are having a new format and location for the banquet which will be the only major change for the upcoming tournament. Please spread the word, Bug Chucker is on as usual!

Sounds like this would be a fun and educational tournament fishing 5 diff lakes.

Yes, definitely both, fun to mingle with people who enjoy fly fishing and a two day go will expose you to the many different types of equipment and methods these different people use to target trout. We fish four different lakes during the two days of competition.

I’m seriously thinking of going.Thinking it would be fun. Would be nice to find a partner to fish with but it’s not necessary.

What are the dates for 2020? I guess you really need some sort of boat to do this well? Without a gas motor.

May 29 -30 2020. From the pictures I see a lot of float tubes and small boats with electric motors.

I have competed twice.My health is the only reason why,i didn't the last couple of years.It is a lot of fun.You'll meet some very friendly, special people.The town of Roblin is home base,banquet,registration,accomodation.Whether it's camping in town,or staying at the motels[Harvest Moon].There was rental boats,fully eqiped,at the bait store[Ray's ?].Check out there website,for info.Lake maps,eateries,etc..
