Grass carp fishing is very rewarding...as they easily spook and for me landing a fly close enough without being seen is improving. I still miss more then I catch but learning every outing on my approach and fly design.

Another personal best today...34 inch and 24 lbs. Finally figuring these Grass Carps thanks to friend John Machin. We are now using hair rigs for a fly.

I caught a 14 pounder few years ago on a bass bug. It towed me and my lab around in the 12' jon boat l had at the time. Great fighting fish for sure.
