This summer after discovering that fly fishing the areas around me would be better accomplished with a float tube I set about researching the different tubes for sale. I settled on the Caddis Premier Plus tube and waited for it to go on sale. Well it did late in the season and I pulled the trigger but by the time it arrived I was in my fall bird hunting and muzzleloader mode and never had the chance to use it. Curious if any another forum members are using this model and their likes and dislikes about the specific model.
On a side note, I have not purchased any flippers and have been looking at the Classic Accessories 63007 Float Tube Finsl on Amazon. Anyone have any experience with this model or have any other that they would recommend.
Thanks in advance.
PS .....I was going to post pictures but I’m old and can’t figure it out.

I have two of the Caddis Nevada float tubes, but have never used the Premiere. The Nevada is a good quality tube that you can find very cheap online. It weighs under 10 lbs, can fit in a daypack and won't take up an entire checked bag if you are flying to your fishing destination. On the downside, like all models with a sling-type seat, your butt is in the water, so not as comfortable as the higher end models where you sit up higher. You ARE less susceptible to wind drift in the lower position, however.
As for fins, find a scuba store and ask to look at their used fins. Scuba fins are much higher quality and produce far greater thrust than the ones I've seen that are marketed for float tubes. The last time I did this, I walked away with two pairs of great fins for thirty bucks.
