Just wondering if anyone has heard of anyplace that does woodworking courses on building your own fly fishing landing net? I always liked to dabble in woodworking...like building a guitar and a ukulele, thought a wooden fly net would be cool. I was maybe thinking checking with Leevaley or maybe some school wood shops. So lets start here...

I've seen this a couple times in magazines, maybe try searching fine woodworking on line or similar magazines. I'm not sure where you'd get the net, but I could help with the woodworking part if you need. A form and some thin strips to make the hoop, and a pile of clamps. West system epoxy is great stuff.
