I'm in the Orlando area on a family vacation. Got out fishing a couple of times. So far sunfish, crappie bluegill and Large-mouth bass. Pictured below is an interesting fish. Hooked him on the first cast, landed on the 2nd. Put it back and kept fishing. As I walked away from that spot, I saw another active fish. So I hooked and lost it the landed it. By the 3rd time I realized it was the same fish as it had a pretty unique marking on its forehead. That fish kept me stuck in the same spot for over an hour all on the same damn fly! Move around the pond and hooked a few more fish and landed some bass For laughs, I went back to the bluegill's house, with my tenkara, seeing if he would bite again and to catch a bluegill on the reel-less fly rod. Same fly!

Neat looking fish, looks like it put on some makeup, ready for night out on the town before you came along. Watch out for alligators standing on the shore there...

Nice, so many places to fish in Florida and the variety is endless. Good job on your catch.
