We the end of March is our annual trip for Lake Cisco and maybe the odd bonus like perch, pike or the dreaded walleye This is a funny year calendar wise. Usually we go the last Sunday of the season. In years gone by it was the last Sunday in March. Now that the season is extended to the last Sunday of the spring break we have a small conundrum. It's Easter/Passover. So we have 2 options 1. Have it on the traditional Last Sunday of March, the 25th (I won't be able go) 2. Have it on the last Sunday (April 1st) with the knowledge we'd mostly be going early and leaving in time to make it to family dinners The only one I can do is the 2nd option, but it is more important to continue the tradition than it is for me to attend. What say you all?

You are proposing a fishing trip in Manitoba on April 1st? I'm not sure if I'm biting that one..

Again a goofy year calendar wise. When I saw Easter day was April fools day I figure the dank memes would storm the internet. SO yes I am proposing an April 1st fishing trip. All in all the 25th seems a better date logistically

I'm in, and OK with the 1st. Can we wait and see if the 2nd is available? Unsure if/when the angling guide will be released, but that might be the end of spring break for schools.

Most of us have to work on the 2nd but if it is an option maybe the afternoon of the 29th is an other option

I emailed water stewardship, and they told me that the season closes end of day the 1st. I asked for a copy of the 2018 anglers guide, but it isn't out yet. A couple of weeks is the answer I got.

Like Bobby, I am unavailable due to kids. Hope the weather and the fish work together for those who are going.

So what time are we meeting up? What time are we planning to be back in Winnipeg? I have others asking.

Uggg I have to bail. My kid works from 4-8 so Easter dinner has been converted into Easter lunch.
As odd as it sounds, I was looking forward to the juxtaposition of fishing in shorts on Monday to Fishing in a parka on Sunday I have a gig on Good Friday and teach all day Saturday.

OK, given the temp is going to be cold, and not get above -10 until noon (see the hourly forecast for Fairford), and I don't know anyone else but Harry thinking of going, Harry do you still want to do this, does anyone else, and if so, what time?

I'm still game and I don't need to be back early so I'm free to leave anytime in the morning thats convenient. Text me as I don't know the time you normally leave Cheers Harry
