I was surprised to find that a shrimp or scud seemed to be my most successful pattern. Perhaps because I trailed it behind a leech and the fish couldn't resist something that it was actually feeding on.

I spent a great deal of time using muddlers last year. Was getting bored tossing nymphs and leech patterns into the reeds waiting for a pull. On my annual Parkland fall trip, I put them to great use on Twin targeting those tigers. Its so exhilarating watching a tiger breach while trying to grab your fly!

Size 12 scud chromie Or Black red rib ice cream cone.Put a lot of fish in the boat.A BCW which is a Brian Chan Wiggler.This is Brian's 1st fly he ties on.You can tie it in burgundy or red,marabou.Or pale green/olive for baby damsel sz12 scud hook...
