Hello all.
Just found this site recently and have enjoyed reading through many of the threads new and older. Lots of great info.
I am am a fairly inexperienced fly fisher, although have owned fly rods for 15 years or so, just never got good with them or had much success attracting fish to the far end of the line. Now that I am settled down in MB and have a little more time I'd like to start figuring this FF thing out. I have been tying some franken-flies the past few months on my own, as the work schedule never seems to allow me to make it to the MFFA tying night to actually learn how to do it right.
Hope I can share some things I learn and make a few fishing connections along the way.

Welcome to the site!
I'm a beginner too, and look forward to my second season fly fishing starting in a few days. Too bad the Red River will be so high... it's going to be tough slugging if the water at Lockport is high.
Every Tuesday a handful of fly fishing club members and friends go out to Lockport to fish for the evening. Good place to hang around and get some questions answered. Although I'm not a member yet, I will probably be there, as will a few others on this board.
As they say, "tight lines".
