Finally caught my first MA drum after 2 years of fishing the Red. Only caught one other drum, but was foul hooking and loosing tons of carp in the sticks just before I called it quits. Tore a hole in my new waders, luckily they were reinforced over the front shin. I would have raged if it tore through all the way.

Nice Drum there!
High water is definitely making things a bit tough there, nice to see a few fish caught.
Got my first Kitty and Drum today too. Good to get out.
Steve.

Took one >20 inch drum out last night. Pretty slow, but fun none the less.

The drum are in the spillway alot thicker than this past week. was there yesterday managed two drum and a sauger on the fly, hard casting with the insane gusts of wind and all people keep wanting to walk behind me when casting....carp are still in there thick too, ive managed to hook a few by the mouth with regular tackle but not on the fly rod yet (lots of scales on the fly though)
