Super high and muddy as we all could guess. Went out for a couple hours and nailed a few drum. Lost a few carp. One was a deffinete snag, the other two... who knows. Did manage to nab a 25" drum though, that was a pretty good fight.... will be waiting for the level to return to more seasonal. There are fish to be caught... but not a lot of room to fish for them.

That water certainly has gone up a TON, especially with the rain.
Was out a few nights ago and took some casts from the southwest corner of the spillway. Carp were surfacing all over the place, for what food/reason... i don't know. Hooked into two on a ginger bead-chain eyed zuddler but I'm 99% they were both foul hooked. My friend managed to land one smaller cat using cut bait.
I will definately be waiting a bit for the water to receed (and clear up in there) before returning to beautiful Lockport, Manitoba.
