Hit the floodway around 5:30 last evening. Managed to land several drum, a 28 in. carp, and 5 cats, 2 x 29, 2 x 33, and on my last cast at 10:30 I hooked into a 36.5 in. cat that made me fight into the dark of the night. Annoying thing was I hooked into about 4 other larger fish, which either got away or broke off. The one that got away (which was the largest that I hooked into yesterday and in my fly fishing career) had me in my backing for nearly 20 minutes, and I could barely budge the pig. After 20 minutes of battling with this monster I think he got tangled up in a snag, or my drooper loop got snagged on the bottom. Another nuisance I experienced last evening was a man that was pestering me to keep the fish I was catching. After I landed my carp, he came over with a sack in hand to take the fish. I told him that you are not allowed to keep this size of fish! So I released the carp to fight another day. However, it was a gorgeous evening to be fishing, the most productive fly, was a BH prince nymph, and the MA cat was caught on a large Rusty DDH. I think I saw Stu arrive later than l, so I stole the spot that I saw him pulling fish out of that spot last year like crazy. I think he was a little disappointed. ;D Early bird gets the worm, Joel I'll try posting pics this evening

Good job. I've yet to catch a nice sized white bass out of there. Sorry about the mix up, I think we met last year Harry, you're an electrician, right?
