A friend asked me if I could write up a Step by Step for this pattern so I thought I would share this with you guys as well. Hook - Diachii 2220 size 2-4 Tail - Marabou Body - Ice Chenille "Throat" - Marabou High Lights - Different colour marabou. (opp) This is very easy to tie with a rotary vise. Oh how I miss mine. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. High Light Tricky Part You have two options at this point 1) Place marabou around hook shank. Slim Body 2) Hackle Marabou Fat head Slim Body Stile Should look like a big puff ball at this point Lick your fingers and comb it back Add High lights two both sides End result Other Colours

Cool, good demo. Bet those flies have a good profile when wet, lots of good motion too.

I like that. Similar to our popsicle flies for pacific salmon except that the marabou is usually palmered in that style.
Looks like a killer.
