Was out the other night at Lyon's and after a few casts, my reel went sploosh into the lake. :- After pulling up all my line and backing, and retrieving my reel, I found the reel seat pulled off my rod. Looking in my drawer at home, found this super glue and figured why not. Works like a charm and I cannot pull this thing apart. Going to keep one in my vehicle from now on.

I use Loctite as well and it is fantastic. Not sure if you are using the gel type but there are countless things around the house and in my fishing gear that I have used that stuff for.
One time I was gluing some eyes onto a streamer and I used too much, when I went to pinch the eyes to get them on tight I found that my fingers had gotten stuck together right through the body of the streamer. I had a helluva time trying to get them unstuck. Ah well, live and learn...
