Had a first time fly fisher on the red last Wed. and he had a great time. Hooked 3 Cats and lost them all. The brown DDH did the trick on the catsas well as some Sauger and Goldeye for me. In fact my biggest fish for the day was only 16 7/8 inches but boy what a Goldeye. Thought it was a White Bass after it flashed near the surface, was I excited or what. A good day overall.

Hopefully, the cats are now post-spawn. BTW Stu, I used one of your brown DDH leech variants - rubber legs added - on smallies and I think it should be banned. Shame on you for creating something that inflicts such grief on poor, unsuspecting fish ...TIM

Was on the Red at lock port from 11 to 2 on Friday , fishing slow and water level down at bit , but hooked on to a 28 inch carp , with a red and white DDH leech , it was great fun thanks STU.

Glad to hear you guys are catching fish on the DDH. I don't think I will ever develope another fly that works so well on fish. Count on different species is now sitting at 73 and hopefully it will keep on growing. I still find it unbelieveable that it works so well.
