I love this store, I do a lot of buying online and usually get way too much material but I love the deals here. I usually pay between, $4.50 USD to $7.50 USD per rabbit pelt, there is a good variety of colors and Deb discounts very well on shipping. I ordered 5 pelts 2 natural one black one red and one pink, the naturals have a little brown on them but the hides are very nice to cut and tie. The shipping was a little over $7.00 US for the 5 pelts which I was credited a bunch back for paying too much. Check out the scratch and dent section of her E-bay store for awesome discounted furs, the honey colors make great mice for pike and bass. Now cutting Your own has its drawbacks it also has its bonuses, tonnes of dubbing, strips as big or small as You want also as long as You want for flies like My 10" musky tandem Zonker. Remember though that fur thickness varies throughout the pelt so the belly is less furry than the back. Feathers are abundant here and since it is not fly shop oriented but rather native crafts the price is very reasonable. I'd love to support My local fly shop but there isn't one for quite some miles away. Great bargains and great shipping usually withing a week. I give Native Sun Products a cool 10 out of 10 for quality and service.

How's the colour fastness of their dyed products? Does it run on your fingers, or does it fade in the water?

My used flies are as brilliant as the new ones. Even the feathers are great, I have had problems with a few stores though. After a day of fishing all of My fly was washed out. The colors are also brilliant, Like I mentioned, the only bad part is that some furs are super thick and some are finer. but that comes in general with fur. As for the discount furs, I am sure they are much the same quality just in excess. I had bought a couple of naturals and was actually a bit disappointed there wasn't more brown for mice but I'm gonna order up some chinchilla colors for mice now. For Me the only negative is that I am only tying for 2 people and I have so much excess from one pelt.

Thanx for the info! One other way is to see if there is any colour transferred to your fingers after tying.

Yeah, I had bought feathers online and even the bag was dyed. The feathers were actually clumpy not fluffy. I suppose its the risk of buying online sight unseen, but there are some genuine good products for good prices when one looks around hard enough.
