Ken I had the time to get out for a fish today. We ended up at the floodway outlet. Landed a few glodeye and a few bigger bites. We used Stu's DDH which worked like a charm, with our own mix of dubbing. A good time was had by all., despite the weather, and it goes without saying we were spoting the finest fly rod on the river. Cheers Ron.

Glad you had fun. The brown DDH Leech worked well yesterday. 7 Cats landed plus 2 Carp, lots of drum and a half dozen goldeye. What a riot.

Stu; Made a spectrumized dubbing amd coper flash, for the DDH. Once wet it was much the color of the water except a few shades darker. I used a 2 fly rig with your easter egg ( tied like a cross between a leech and a streamer. first and then a DDH as the dropper. A big thanks for sharing these flies. Cheers Ron.

It was indeed good, though cold day. Watched Ron pull in several goldeye, and got not even a nibble However, I got out there again this morning, and got a half dozen goldeye, and a rather large pike. First time I ever caught a pike at Lockport. Was using a couple DDH leeches I got from Ron (thanks, Ron!). The one that worked best by far was the brown DDH with a short yellow tail. No cats, though, and no carp. Maybe I was in the wrong place...?

Ooh Ahaah I guess some more of those flies is what the doctor ordered. Ken, what line did you use? Are you sure you built a Catfish fly rod or did you miss order and get a pike rod? ;D ;D
