Fished at Lockport last nite for the first annual MBFF website get together...well it was a few from this and the walleye warrior site. From here came myself and scuba (although i saw no fly rod in his hand but i doubt he would have caught that sturgeon with it... After sunset and all had left i finally started to hook a few fish mostly sauger till i got the 30" cat. Fighting one of those brutes in the dark ain't for the faint of heart. Took a pic but will be awhile till i finish the roll. Over all a nice couple of days fishing and meeting fellow board members/fly fishers. rb

Hey Rob I was out at lockport last week two or three times, first couple of times caught some sauger and goldeye, the third time was charmed got three cats over 30 and one baby all in a couple of hours. Used a dace pattern that stu made and was out between 5 and 7pm. Was fishing on the other side of the big tree, theres a couple of nice holes there, next time your out give that area a shot. Also was there sat. afternoon and hooked into a big one,at first I thought I was snagged so I was trying to unhook when all of a sudden my line started to move, was a brief but thrilling battle which the fish won. God I love that river. ;D....Kim

I was on the west side of the tree but found that the obvious seams produced no hits but when i fished back east thats when the action started.
