OK - the boy done gone and dun it - found a weird spider. We have wolf spiders, house spiders, and daddy long legs about - but this one .......... Aside of an ugly spider - can anyone be more specific as to what kind ? ? ? Not an orb weaver as its web is more a disorganized slough of a web (unless it wasn't finished). It's more pale yellow (like a PMD) than the brownish color shown here (poor light, sun had just gone down). Leg segments are a light brown and lighter brown (near orange-ish). 4 eyes bla, bla, bla Feitsy little beggar it is. Only comes out at nite and in morning. Stays on south side of house - near eaves. Ideas

thank you, thank you another cat ............. N2FF - this cat took out a beetle that was a tad bigger than herself. Orb webs are stronger than high strength steels and kevlar. They aren't easy to bust up or take down. Hence the beetle was toast the second it hit the web ............ muchos gracias amigos .....
