I'll start off by admitting that this is a very strange question... Has there been any studies showing whether fish are sensitive the sonar pulse used by depth finders...
The reason I ask is that over the weekend we were trout fishing and over the 3 days I caught 4 fish to everyones elses 1. I was fishing right underneath (or close proximity) to the transducer. When I moved and let others fish there they started to catch fish also.
We would swing on the anchor rope and with a 22' boat but with 6 people in the boat there was only a few feet of seperation between everyone but it seems like all the fish were caught from the corner of the boat were the transducer was.
Strange...
