By the size of this guys paws - I'm guessing he can handle one or two at a time : Hello ... Its a problem I have - driving and taking pictures - at the same time. The camera is always with me. But ya know .... sometimes you just get lucky. Last shot was no more than 50ft from the van ;D

Those animals are so cool.
The first time I saw a family running across the road leading out of Sandbar lake. They are so exotic looking i thought they were some bizzare escapees from a private zoo.
Nice shots what are ya using??

Current unit - and likely will be until they stop producing 35mm film - is a Minolta X270 with a Mirage 35-200m lens.
Its always produced great pics - just can't give it up. Digital will have to come a long way before I head that way.
Seeing as we're up at Riding Mountain so often - one of my ... ideas is to photograph as much of the different wildlife as we can. This critter was marked for a "1% chance in our life time"
Next hard-to-view critter is the wolf (but I won't pass on taking another pic of a Lynx if I get it).
