I have tendonitis in both shoulders (music related injury) and casting with the high elbow like i do in a tube really aggravates it. Any hints or do most of us get the sore shoulder after casting for 6 hours in a tube??

An ultralight spinning rod/reel should ease the pain ;D

Not being an expert caster- I,ll just toss in a layman,s viewpoint:))) When I see you cast it looks extremely tight/tense to be honest I wondered how you can keep that going all day:))) Relax:))) you can still throw the tight loops you seem to like without the upper body rigidity

An ultra light "spinning " reel how would taking 18 steps backward help anything? Cane: I have been wanting to borrow a video camera to see my casting for myself and maybe see what you mean. I am trying not to have any torso drift (lost energy) but maybe i am taking it too far.
