Welcome aboard... What made you get back into flyfishing? Had you been away from fishing entirely or just flyfishing? What kind of flyfishing do you like - trout streams, trout lakes, bass in the Whiteshell, carp and catfish in the Red River.....

I couldnt stay away from fishing but fly fishing took a back seat since i left Sask. but this summer did some fishing in Nopimign for smallies and gators in my float tube and did well. (several MAs) I also have done a little fishing for trout at renoylds and garson but am looking forward to hooking into a cat this spring.

Howdy Rustyflyguy All i can say is you better have a strong wrist cause some of these CATs can be like catching a 40 pound cement brick with a attitude. Oh yeah your gear has to hold out as well . But other than that welcome aboard dude ;D

how ya doing guy Try wrapping one of them burbot onto the fly rod and see what happens (I'm waiting for that one - yahoooo). Anyhow .... will see what happens, maybe tube tackle one of them lakes up your way this year. gotta run, darrell,
