Well I have to admit that I thought my days of chasing trout would be limited to trips back to BC. Not so I find out. Now I need to begin the process of learning about the waters here on Manitoba.
Just moved here from Abbotsford and started training in my new job. The family will be following this summer, so I have a little free time on my hands to start that process.
Brought my rods and tube back on my last trip home so I am ready to go. I work shift work so my times available to get out are all over the place. If you are heading out and are up to showing me some of the intricacies of the lakes here I would appreciate it.
Drop me a line. I look forward to getting out.

Glad you found this site and glad you are here. The stillwater fishery that we have here is second to none. You want big fish we got them. Now if you only have a 6 wt better plan on getting a 9 and trying the Red for some really big fish. Your arms won't be left in the sockets.

Would this be the same Pondscum that posted on Fishbc?
I'm still from Abbotsford, but get out to Manitoba every year or so to visit family and wet a line. You might be interested to know that Abbotsford has a new fishing store - Darryl left Hubs and is working at the new store on Whatcom Road, right next door to Timmy's.
Pike on a fly are a blast!!! Enjoy.
