Why is it that some streams receive stockings of trout but aren't mentioned in the regulations as stocked trout waters? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Wassimin (Clear?) Creek, the Shell River, and Big Boggy Creek fall into this category. On the flip side, the North Duck River is listed as stocked trout water but has it had any recent stockings? I'm guessing the fish in there reproduce quite well by themselves...

just saw this
I think it is a good guess that any river that recieved a stocking in the past and had a sliver of a chance of being self sustaining made the list.
