I'm starting to tye up some of those Mickey finns that Stu was talking about and also was thinking that once we start getting some of the plus temps that will come someday that we should maybe put togther a outing to the Fairford. So do a little tying,do a little fishing and get down, get down, get down to the Fairford. You get the picture ;D...Kim

naw - a couple pies - good cup of coffee - and Stu will be out cutting logs before St. Laurent (as long as he's not driving - that may be a good thing ) Used to (quote "used to") zip up to Fairford for walleye - moons ago - and the bass were plentyfull too --- seemed to be my luck - go for walleye - end up with bass .... go for bass - end up with pike - - -

remember I said "used to" and "many moons ago" I was knee-high to a pig wallowing in the mud ..... maybe an inch taller ..... sorry bud - didn't mean to spike your adrenalin. Can't recall exactly. Must be + 20 yrs since I was there. Uncle stated they were bass (not too familiar then with species - just that they swam and that equated to fish). If I run into my uncle - I'll ask (its about time to hook up with him for another fishing trip). Then again - hey - we fished the backwaters of the Assiniboine near Marquette for whatever hooked on - a fish was a fish to us then - Drums, Burbot, Clams (yes clams), the very odd walleye.

Maybe we will end up fishing there sooner than later. The forecasts are looking good and it will just be a matter of time till it breaks 0º and if we are lucky it might do it on a weekend

Anyone planning on heading to the Fairford if temperatures rise to the expected 4 degrees?
I am definitely up for it, if anyone else is.....?
