What kind of fishing experiences have people had on the Saskatchewan River ? I'd be interested in trying it for goldeye either downstream of the Grand Rapids dam or in the vicinity of the Pas.

the goldeye fishing here in edmonton, alberta on the North Saksatchewan river is world class. And some of them get BIG. Elk hair caddis and stimulators the staple diet of the dry fly angler

Went ice fishing there once a long time ago and some people were pulling in some nice sized Northrens. I would think there would be Walleye. Just checked the 2001 stocking list 500000 fry put in at the town of Grand Rapids. In the Master Angler section Goldeye 16.25 inches,Sauger 18.50 inches thats all I could find...Kim
