Hey all, Call me a complete fly fishing nerd but a while back I took some macro photos of dragonfly wings and painstakingly traced them on the computer. I had access to a laser imagesetter that burned the image into a positive piece of film (plastic sheets) and the result was pretty awesome. I am not sure if you guys have any ideas for things you can do with these, but I included links for where you can download them and print them off on your own materials. I am planning on tracing mayfly wings next and I will post a link for those as well. For those of you who use a EPS compatible drawing program download it from here: www.digicandesigns.com/dragonflywing/JamesDragonflyWing.epsFor those of you who use a photo editing software you can download a TIF version here: www.digicandesigns.com/dragonflywing/JamesDragonflyWing.tifTo download, just right click the link and click "save target as" and save it to where you want it. Post some of the creations you make if any of you end up using these. James.

I just finished tracing the wing for the baetidae (mayfly)... I put both into JPG format so that it is easier to download. Let me know if anyone wants the EPS of TIF version. Right click image as above and save to disk. I know a good technique for wings... I will post a bit of a tutorial on how these patterns I have traced can be made into a sort of stencil. Anyways... enjoy and if you end up with something really cool from these post some pics! James.
